Sonic X Background Information

The latest series in the Sonic cartoon history. Starting in 1999,
Sonic X has been around for quiet some time, featuring 3 seasons,
with rumor of a fourth. Introducing the classic characters, as well
as many new ones, Sonic X has a nice mixture of classic theme with
new situations, being Seasons 1 and 2 are on Earth instead of Mobius.

The basic plot changes with the seasons. Season 1 is mainly about
introducing the characters on Mobius, and handling Eggman's attacks.
Season 2 features the storyline of the Chaos Creature (the storyline
of Sonic Adventure DX), Shadow (Sonic Adventure 2: Battle), and
the returning home of Sonic and the rest. Season 3 is all about battling
the evil meterex who are trying to destroy the galaxy.

Also, there are sort of two versions to this. The Japanese/French,
and the American 4kids version. The reason why I note this, is because
the japanese/french versions contain a little more voilance and more
mature content, meaning more damage done to characters, deaths, some
swearing, and more intense scenes. I have not scene the japanese/french
versions myself, i know you can get them at soniconthe.net, where the other
episode downloads are, at least i beleive so. Some of the edits I hear are
a shame they took out, but most of it was stuff that really didn't effect
the story much at all (like Eggman getting slapped for commenting on Rogue's
bossom), but some was suppose to be really intense (like Shadow placing a
rose on Molly's grave in season 3, that was edited out).

Overall, this is my second most favorite of the sonic cartoons, and
can really hammer in the intensity and even some tear jerkers at
the series ends.
