02/07/04 Sonic 1 - Burning Lava Galore

Commentary: You must realize that, thanks to me, Sonic has developed a sort of lava-phobia. With his senses back to normal (if you can call it that), he now can realized that he is surrounded by molten hot lava. (The reason he never realized this in the first scene, is simply because I teleported him, remember?).

02/07/04 Sonic 1 - Return Of The Lava-Induced Twitch

Commentary: Return of the Twitch!!! Sonic has finally arrived at the cave of lava. Full of bats, sharp chandeliers, switches, block, and flowing river of molten death! And the reason Sonic is so small is because (as you can see in the 2nd frame, the size of the path) that Sonic full sized would be to big to make it through the level. So I shrank him. (PS: Don't tell him.)
